In the near future, the Ministry of Health will begin implementing the medical reform laid down in bill No. 6327, there will be no shocks for medical institutions and doctors, Deputy Health Minister Pavlo Kovtoniuk has said.
"We have a plan, despite the fact that it is very radical, but it is very systemic and not shocking. It will not bring shock to doctors and medical institutions. Radical things will be done, but step by step. Nobody will get into the situation from January 1, when suddenly there is no money or there are no patients," he said at a briefing in Kyiv on October 19.Kovtoniuk said that the plan of the Health Ministry is designed to ensure that the reform will be orderly conducted.
As reported, the Verkhovna Rada supported at the second reading and on the whole the bill on state financial guarantees for the provision of medical services and medicines (No. 6327), which gives rise to medical reform.
